Wow what a crazy Holiday season it has been! We are going to keep it going in Bama...promise! New Mayor coming to Birmingham, so our quest for a public skatepark will be in high gear! Got a huge demo lined up in March...more TBA. New teamriders on the frontlines, and a Faith and friends promo dvd will be dropping sometime this year. Got some other tricks up our sleeves too, but don't want to let the cat outta the bag yet. Thanks for all of the support over the last 15 years, we hope to continue this forever and build our scene even bigger! We have started fundraising for a public skatepark here in Birmingham, and within two months we have raised almost $2000. Please help our fundraising efforts in any way possible...donations, volunteering efforts, bake sale, artwork donations, skate memorobilia donations, etc... Big thank yous to everyone who came out and supported our benefit/christmas party at Bottletree! BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA SKATEPARK FUNDRAISER AND SKATEART AUCTION

FUNDRAISER AND SKATEART AUCTION BENEFITING BIRMINGHAM PUBLIC SKATEPARK FUND.

Faith Skate Supply is hosting our 1st annual SkateArt benefit supporting the "Build Birmingham a Skatepark" project on Thursday December 3, 2009.
All ages are welcome from 7pm-9pm with a $5 entry fee, after 9pm it's 18+ with a $7 entry fee. All proceeds go to the skatepark fund.
Event begins at 7 p.m. with a Video Premiere from Zero Skateboards entitled "StrangeWorld", followed by the Art Raffle and Auction of hand painted Vans skateboard shoes and hand painted skateboards by prominent local and regional artists.
Bands go on stage at 9pm. Disguised, Skeptic?, and Arclight

Giveaways throughout the night and Autographed skateboards from Vans Footwear, Fallen Footwear, Zero Skateboards, Black Label skateboards and more to be raffled off.

Congrats to Riley Cutcliffe on his $1000 grand prize win at the BattleGround Skate Contest this past weekend! Riley ripped the course after showing up late and barely getting any practice. Switch tailslides down the hubba and Switch Frontboards down the handrail were just a couple of the tricks that sealed the deal for Riley's win.

James Hardy is back on his board a bit after having knee surgery about 5 weeks ago. Plenty of physical therapy and rest are what the doctor ordered for James, though he cannot resist getting back on board! Check out the vimeo clip of James about 4 weeks after knee surgery.

Faith Skate Supply would like to invite everyone to "Join Us" for "National Go Skateboarding Day" on Sunday, June 21st. The City of Birmingham needs to realize that skateboarding is here to stay and that we need a public skatepark! Faith will be posting numerous "mini events/contests" that we will be coordinating for Go Skateboarding Day.

We had a great time this past weekend in Lafayette, LA while attending the "King of the Park" contest. Great times on the way there too! Daniel Cutcliffe made it to the top 10 or so and we are proud of him! Some heavy hitting skateboarding going on at the contest and it drew contestants from as far as Tampa, Fl.

Checked out the Hammond, LA park on the way! Awesome!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our "Day of Street Skating via the Dart"! The day was awesome even though everyone got split up. Over 100 skaters showed up to take over the newly paved streets of Birmingham. We got calls from tons of local Birmingham businesses that were overwhelmed when they saw the huge masses of skateboarders having fun! We are still working on a video clip of the day to be posted here soon! Let's really take over the streets on "National Go Skateboarding Day" this June 21st! Now if the city officials would just recognize the need for a public skatepark, our local skateboarders would be able to get together for a day of fun at a sanctioned skate spot! Join us for a day of shredding this Saturday March 7th. We will depart Faith Skate Supply at 12p.m. on Birmingham's fine Dart Transportation System. Come enjoy a day of street skating on Birmingham's newly paved streets as we ride the Dart from skate spot to skate spot. We will be filming the highlights of our fun along the way to be posted on Faith Skate Supply's Vimeo Channel. This is what skateboarding is all about! A day with friends cruising around the city on 4 wheels! Skate at your own risk as always!

Congrats to James Hardy who recently was named Thrasher Magazine's "AM OF THE YEAR"! James had a huge year in '08 with his Fallen "Ride the Sky" video part as well as tons of coverage in every magazine. We look forward to James turning pro one day (hopefully soon!). Currently James is taking time off his skateboard to rehabilitate a back injury he sustained and will be back on board very soon killing it! James will now be filming for a full part in the new Real Skateboards Video and for a new Faith Promo video to be released Holiday '09!
